Stand in awe before this monumental throwback to the past. Watch for seals basking on ice floes, listen for the loud, deep rumble and wait for the mighty crack and crash of a lustrous shaft collapsing into the ice-choked waters. Search for humpback whales returning from their wintering grounds near Hawaii, killer whales feeding in the park's near-shore waters. Be sure to pack your binoculars and your favorite camera!

Let your imagination run wild in Juneau. Visit Mendenhall Glacier. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest. Hunt for souvenirs in town. Or get out and kayak, explore the wild coast by private boat, dogsled, raft, whale watch, flightsee or fish. There's no end to the adventure because we are in port long enough to truly take advantage of the long daylight hours.

Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass Narrows and drapes the mountains with a cheerful air. Besides the main attractions of the Creek Street, the Totem Heritage Center, the Tongas Historical Museum, Toem Bight State Park, and Saxman village, Ketchikan is home to beautiful Misty Fjords National Monument. Join local fisherman on a Bering Sea crab boat, absorbing scenic wonders along the way, or board a jet boat to cruise through Clover Pass and visit Totem Tribal House.
